I hate this disease.. today yet another family is saying good bye to their child.. Sweet Brody has been fighting since he was 2 years old. he is now 8 and on a vent.. he had a stroke and a brain bleed. His family is taking him off and letting him go.. Please pray for peace as he goes, and peace and comfort for the family..

Jen-I just went and visited his care page. Just so sad. There is a new update. I had never heard about mito until Amanda told me about sweet Ella and now I hear about it all the time. I just don't understand how we have so many medical advances but there is nothing that can cure mito. I just don't understand. Praying for Brody's family and yours as well.

I just started to follow your blog, I also lost my child, my sweet boy to mito... I also follow Brody's story, what a sweet, adorable little guy he was! My heart breaks for there family.

Jen, I am so sorry for Brody and his family. That is so heartbreaking. It just seems like this babylost community has flooded into real life since Jenna died. It's so sad. I will keep Brody and his family in my prayers. Thank you for sharing this. XX
